For all further information about the protection of personal data, please visit the website of the Dutch Data Protection Authority: https://autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl/nl.

Until you accept the use of cookies and other tracking systems on the website, we will not place any non-anonymised analytical cookies and/or tracking cookies on your computer, mobile phone or tablet.

By continuing to visit the Website, you accept the following terms of use.

The version of the privacy statement currently available on the Website is the only version that applies for as long as you visit the Website, until a new version replaces it.

Article 1 – Legal provisions

  1. Website (also referred to below as “the website”): Sneppies.com
  2. Controller responsible for processing personal data (also referred to below as “the administrator”): Sneppies B.V., registered at Hollandse Kade 36 D, 1391 JM Abcoude; Chamber of Commerce number: 86808095

Article 2 – Access to the website

Access to and use of the website is strictly personal. You may not use this website, or the data and information provided on it, for commercial, political or advertising purposes, or for any commercial offers, and in particular not for unsolicited electronic offers.

Article 3 – Website content

All brands, images, texts, comments, illustrations, (animated) pictures, videos and sounds, as well as all technical applications that may be used to make the website function and, more generally, all elements used on this website, are protected by intellectual property rights under the law. Any reproduction, repetition, use or modification, in any manner whatsoever, of all or part of this content, including the technical applications, without the prior written permission of the responsible party, is strictly prohibited. If the administrator does not take immediate action against an infringement, this may not be interpreted as tacit permission or as a waiver of the right to take legal action.

Article 4 – Website management

To manage the website properly, the administrator may at any time:

  • suspend, interrupt or restrict access for a particular category of visitors to the whole or part of the website
  • remove any information that may disrupt the functioning of the website or that conflicts with national or international legislation or internet etiquette
  • make the website temporarily unavailable in order to carry out updates

Article 5 – Responsibilities

The administrator is not responsible under any circumstances for failures, malfunctions, difficulties or interruptions affecting the website, which may make the website or any of its functions inaccessible. The way in which you connect to the website is your own responsibility. You must take all appropriate measures yourself to protect your equipment and data against, among other things, attacks by viruses on the internet. You are also responsible for the websites you visit and the data you access online.

The administrator is not liable for any legal proceedings brought against you:

  • as a result of using the website or services accessible via the internet
  • as a result of breaching the terms of this privacy policy

The administrator is not responsible for any loss or damage suffered by you, third parties or your equipment as a result of connecting to or using the website. You agree not to take any action against the administrator as a result of this.

If the administrator becomes involved in a dispute as a result of your use of this website, they are entitled to recover from you any loss or damage suffered or yet to be suffered as a result.

Article 6 – Collection of data

Your data is collected by Sneppies and one or more external processors. Personal data means all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. A natural person is considered identifiable if they can be identified, directly or indirectly, particularly by an identifier such as a name, identification number, location data, an online identifier, or one or more elements relating to their physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity.

Article 7 – Your rights in relation to your data

Under Article 13(2)(b) of the GDPR, everyone has the right to access and correct or erase their personal data, or to restrict its processing, as well as the right to object to processing and the right to data portability. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at info@sneppies.com.

Each such request must be accompanied by a copy of a valid identity document bearing your signature, together with the address at which you can be contacted. You will receive a response to your request within one month of submitting it. Depending on the complexity and number of requests, this period may be extended by a further two months where necessary.

Article 8 – Processing of personal data

If any law or regulation is breached, and the visitor is suspected of this breach and the authorities require personal data collected by the data controller, that data will be provided following an explicit and reasoned request from the authorities. From that point onwards, the personal data will no longer be protected by the provisions of this privacy statement.

If certain information is required to access particular website functions, the data controller will indicate that providing this information is mandatory when requesting the data.

Article 9 – Commercial offers

You may receive commercial offers from the data controller. If you no longer wish to receive them, send an email to: info@sneppies.com.

If you come across any personal data while visiting the website, you must not collect it or use it in any other unauthorised way, nor carry out any act that infringes the privacy of the person or persons concerned. The data controller accepts no responsibility in the situations mentioned above.

Article 10 – Data retention period

The data collected by the website's data controller is used and retained for the period required by law.
